In August 2004, the team of National Wushu Federation of Russia had the instruction course in Shanghai Wushu Institute. The course was teached by the famous coaches that trained the Champions of China and the trainings were made together with the Shanghai Wushu team.
Eleonora Volokontseva - the senior trainer of National Wushu Federation of Russia and Yuri Tanygin - the senior trainer of Wushu Federation of Tiumen, - got the diplomas of Shanghai Wushu Institute.

After the instruction course, the team went to Beijing to take part of Beijing International Wushu Tournament, where we met the strong competitors from China, Malaysia, Ukraine and Russian Wushu Federation.
The result was 29 prize places won by 6 athletes of National Wushu Federation of Russia: 13 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze.
