Nothing is more valubale in sport and Wushu as an information. Authentic information about routines, training methods and preparing teams. It gives coaches and athletes the chance to develop their professional skills and clear the new bars in Wushu. The task of any true Wushu Federation is to deliver such information to its members.

National Wushu Federation cooperates with its Chinese colleagues for a long time and has already organized the seminars in China. However, this year, this activity rose to the International level.

In July 2005, Eleonora Volokontseva, president of Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries and National Wushu Federation of Russia, organized the International seminar-practice in Shanghai Wushu Institute for coaches and athletes from 5 countries – Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Finland and Australia. The participants were trained by the coaches of Shanghai Wushu team and together with its leading athletes. The fans of traditional Wushu have also got the Chinwoo seminar in Shanghai Chinwoo Athletic Association.

The main topics on this seminar were the methods of jumping for recently introduced difficult movements as well as learning new optional routines for all kinds of events.

Eleonora Volokontseva began organizing the seminar since 2004, when she managed to reach the settlement with Shanghai Wushu Institute about receiving and training so large group of people.

“We are happy that we helped our coaches and members to acquire this knowledge and raise their Wushu skills”, - Eleonora Volokontseva said. “To arrange such event, there must be a strong will and big organizational work. Starting from negotiations and up to checking the accomplishment. Only then, the result can be positive that we had in our case. And this is what our Association exists for and this is what we give to those who cooperate with us”.
